I need to ask some one in the Melbourne area for a favour. I am on the West Coast Bunbury......I am looking at a camper in a place called Woodend Victoria and was looking for some one with a good eye to check it out for me.
I will of course pay for fuel.
I can be contacted at aeg@aapt.net.au.

Anthony, Mrs Al isn't that for from there and has camped quite a bit. Look up Member Mr and Mrs Al. She may have already looked at them.

Yeah Mrs Al is about 25km away from Woodend. They are away for the weekend but am sure that she would be willing to go for a drive.

Another reprobate lives in that area....Ex Member Jemima Duck now Nowimnumbereone non member lives closeby as well. If he reads this after the weekend he may offer to help.

But maybe the Red Baron...er, Red Frog wil do it sooner....LOL

That's a big ask.

Do you intend to buy it purely on the opinion of this person? If so that puts a lot of responsibility upon them. What I think is OK about a secondhand camper you may think is terrible and wouldn't buy on that one point alone?

I have certain skills which enable me to fix things you, no doubt, have different skills which enable you to fix other things - what to you may be a non issue may be a show stopper to me.

Perhaps it would be best if anyone who went to see it takes stacks of digital pics. and sent them to you and allowed you to decide based upon the pics alone?

Woodend is about 90km north of Melbourne CBD btw.

ok, woodend is in the middle of nowhere but in the spirit of interstate relations I could do it from Geelong if you desire, I could send pics and give you my opinion. Don't you have campers over there. Email me at mad-dog@aapt.net.au

You're a good bloke Mad Dog - that's best part of a two hour trip each way for you.

Mike,

He is just going hunting for that little Easter Bunny that is due tonight. :)

You can explain that to my kids then, I have just convinced them to go to bed early so he can pay them a visit tonight.

If not did he taste alright?
