Gday all, just a query regarding the return trip from The Cape back to Cairns. We have heard that you can put the car on the Barge - 1. Has anyone done this ? 2. Does anyone know the company which provides this service? and 3. Approx how much?

We done the Weipa to Kurumba on seaswift back in 93. Was great trip and it was not much more expensive than driving.
Brother has sent his boat up to TI a few times a lot less expensive than trying to tow it up there.
I have done that trip several times on trawlers, Great trip you will enjoy it.

We done the Weipa to Kurumba on seaswift back in 93 with Toyota in a containe. Was great trip and it was not much more expensive than driving. They feed us well. Stopped in at a few places to drop off stores.

Hi yakodi

Your other option is the "Pacific Discoverer" with Endeavour Shipping.

Cairns - 4035 1664 or 0418 183 213

Bamaga - 0427 351 147

Cheers
