It's raining now and I feel cold,
I might just be a little bold
And claim the drought has gone away
That mud and slush is here to stay!

I've waited long and watched the sky,
Clouds came over rain it tried.
But the grass was gone or rather yellow
Now I hoot and yell and bellow.

Now the clouds are dropping heaps
The grass is there for my 100 sheeps
The cows are happy, they are mooing
eating, drinking and then pooing.

My four wheel drive I had to use
To get up the drive and through the ooze
I'm happy now the dams are filling
It can stop now I am willing!

A bit of sun to help the grass
To grow some more and earn the brass
My rhymings done so it's up to you
If you wish to make poems too.

my dear friend royce
i hate to say
looks like the drought
dried your brains away

now this rain
might be short
then your sheep
will become first course

the rains here now
time for you to go
and plow your fields
before the snow

for sure theres rain
and a bit of green grass
but theese sheep on the tracks
are a pain in the ass

they have stopped me dead
and here ill stay
untill you move your happy sheep away

now im bogged
and im stuck fast
get out to check
step on recycled grass

so you might think this rain is fun
as far as im concerned
stick it up your bum

this is only a poem made on the spur of the moment and no offence intended lololol

My 4x4 is old and rare
And drivien by a bigt fat bear
Here in the north of south
No mud to play
And lots of clouds just drift away

Sheep on the road, they are a pain
So are skips and snakes and galahs eating grain
Don't swerve to miss the little clowns
Or you'll end in the ditch upside downs

A poet I am really not
So I'd better end and stop the rot!Cheers, Willem
Never a dull moment

Sounds like somebody has too much time on their hands and nothing to do! Get in your truck and get out there! Stop persisting about inside on your stupid computer and wasting valuable 4WDing time. Get out there and find some mud to play in!

Now that is impressive. It shows a lot of culture and literary ability to write a poem that doesn't rhyme.

Just came in from mud play. I didn't see you out there! and.... now I've got to cart some gravel to fill in these bluddy muddy pot holes.

I'm going to do just that. I'm currently preparing things as we leave tomorrow for a play in the tracks down in the MacKenzie Basin in Central Otago for four days along with 9 other trucks. I've just spent a hectic two weeks fixing my truck and helping my bro prepare his new offroad toy, a 1990 swb Patrol. Eat your heart out guys! 1990, 180,000ks 4.2 diesel, auto, beaut condition and only $11000 NZ.
