I have a 2.8L Diesel Hilux, which i have put a DTS Turbo on and a 2 1/4 exhaust system. It has gained a reasonable amount of power, but i am thinking of an intercooler. Safari are the only company that i can find and their front mount doesn't excite me, blocks too much air flow. Does anyone know where i can get a Top Mount intercooler done in Brisbane?
Has anyone done this to a Hilux? Is it worth while? I have seen the web site www.ruley.com and he claims massive power boosts, but engine longetivity???

Power always costs something.

Depends on the condition of the motor to start with.

Top mounts suffer as well in slow stuff from heat soak.

try www.are.com.au they are huge on intercooler stuff

safari one to me is too small ...

Good luck.

Im pretty sure DTS do an Air to water cooler, can be mounted anywhere, doesnt make any difference in slow driving etc! Supposed to more efficient than the air to air ones!Might be worth looking at!
