Greg
Gidday all,
The other day I went out bush with a group of vehicles and I have come to the conclusion that I need a new set of shockies for the front end. At times it was like trying to hang onto a kangaroo.
I have a 03 T/D Hilux duel cab and would like your opinion on what type of shockies I need to purchase.
Hopefully there will be a varied opinion, but at least it will a starting point.
Thanking you in advance.
Cheers
Greg

Hi Greg, I had a 2001 Hilux with a 50mm lift and put on OME (Old Man Emu) shocks from ARB. Did a lot off k's in that vehicle including the Cape and
Innamincka and was very pleased with the performance. Sold the vehicle with about 70k on the shocks and they were performing as good as new.
Hope this helps in your decision.
Cheers ..... Geoff

Hi Greg,
Put Ride Pro springs and shocks on my 2000 hilux. Found them a bit hard and articulation average.
Have put TJM on my 04 Hilux. Asked for comfort ride. Just been around Tassie. great ride. Expect articultaion to be better as softer springs than Ride Pro. Daughter has my old Hilux. Corners better than
mine on bitumen cos of firmer
suspension and more lift.
Mine handles dirt road cornering better.
