Guess what trendsetters BONZ ( Captain everything Nissan) isn’t taking that 3.0L heap of Nissan Chit of his to the OBC 07 this year, something about reliability or some such thing.

Noooooooooooo! He is going to drive a ford up there. Maybe the current XR6 or a ‘Territory’ similar to the one he was ‘test driving’ when I rang him a few days ago.

Now for the punch line – is he going to be driving the XR6 or fuel guzzlingTerritory around the very rugged, nasty back blocks of Broken Hill whilst performing his OBC 07 duties. Again Noooooooooooooooooo! he is not. HE IS GOING TO DRIVE A BORROWED 100 series trendsetters.

YES! Captain all things Nissan is going to have his butt in a 100 series for at least a week and come to think of it he will be enjoying the luxury of a Troopy for the other week.

I reasonably suspect it’s another ‘test drive’ session with the view of replacing that 3.0l thing with a decent , reliable off road machine. ( can’t think why he doesn’t just buy a JEEP and be done with it).

I keep asking myself why would anybody with a sane, lucid, coherent and educated mind ,ever think of letting ‘Arthur BONZarelli (chit relo of the FONZ) borrow his/her 100 series.

The only reason I can come up with, is that they want to secretly test out how rugged a 100 series really is, and knowing what a major chit magnet young BONZ is, decided to see if he could/can break it.

So where is the money going to be laid – on BONZ or the 100Series
