Hi Lyndon K
you have probably already done this although picassa or windows seems to see still camera when they connected and turned on - try this process - connect camera to computer with usb cable and turn on - hit import button top left then select device - picassa should see your camera and report its presence in the drop down menu click or double click on its name and it should start to download from your camera - you may also get a tree of your video files - if so click on the one you want and picassa should do the business for you.

hope this helps
