Anyone who has a GPS that has the Bluetooth in it and the unit transmits a signal to the FM Radio for the phone and voice navigation find the idea is useless when you want to listen to a AM station then here's the problem fix,You dig out the old factory installed radio that you pulled out when fitting a new unit, no CD or Cassette in it and mount it under the CD/USB Car radio you use everyday for general AM listening wjth big speakers in the door, then tune the old one to an FM frequency that picks up from the GPS whis is also the phone hands free and you hear it through the old factory speakers in the dash , It really works a treat ,the cost for a bluetooth reciever at Telstra $129, the cost for this method $00.00 time , now you might ask yourself ....what about antenna,
well the CD/USB Car radio has a separate roof antenna [ self installed] and the old radio from the closet is back on the factory fitted .
