They don't seem to work as well as putting them on coils. You are better off with and over-rider leaf, that fits under your orginal springs.

Check places like Repco, Pedders, TJM etc.

Have Firestone "Ride Rite" air helper springs on Rear leaf of Hilux....Had on a couple of these vehicles and so has a mate...They work brilliantly......Once loaded i simply pump them up to get a safe loaded level and off we go...Need pressures checking weekly however as the volume of air is tiny and even checking the pressures is an art without losing height...

The ones we have are the small Heavy Duty black rubber coil that look a bit like the old Michilen Tyre adds...sort of like two tyres on top of each other...Simply take out the bumper stop over the center of the spring and fit them
Life is a journey, it is not how we fall down, it is how we get up.

My dad fitted Polyairs onto his HK Holden (1967) when it was new. He was very happy with them.

Hey Ford Rodeo

My old man put them on his Navara a few years ago when in Perth, he got back to Darwin not long after and couldn't get them off quick enough.

I told him to go to the guy that has done my suspension for over 13 years, Locky had the car and c/van worked it all out and ended up putting a helper spring on and it worked perfect.

Buy the way Locky said there not worth 2 knobs of goat bleep .

Steve.

Thankyou all for your input. Just for the record I ended up putting Ironman Loadplus Helper Springs on and they work great. Pretty much the same principal as airs (sort of) as you can adjust them according to load but I they wont get "popped" by rocks or stones while 4wding.

Thanks again.
