Hi
Similar to a recent post i know!
We have a 445 hornet trophy with 60hp 4stroke that we usually use up north, however we will be towing a Tvan for our next trip, so are looking for a car topper.
We already have a brand new 15 hp mariner 2 stroke that we use as an back up for the other boat, so this will be the motor. Has anyone got a stessl topper tracker, now made by makocraft. Looking at the 3.7, seems to look stable yet have a flared bow for cutting thru a bit of chop. Not sure about a 3.75 dart, i know this would be better in the sea(will use mostly in rivers), but think it may be a little unstable to stand up in?????.
Thanks for the feed back

Lyndon ,
I have a 3.75 Dart and I put those stabalizing thingies on each side , so I didn't tip over when standing up and casting or trying to de-snag in a big current . Best of both worlds .

The Sea-Jay Nomad is a barra punt hull, with a vee bow, very stable and a dry boat in small slop/waves.

The thing I like about them is the straight sides with good freeboard. A semi flat hull makes for a very stable boat with good work room. I have a half casting deck up the front and very steady when stanging up to cast.
