very well done Jim. I reckon its bloody great. Can't remember if I confirmed or not with you, but the missus is happy for you to have our 90 whenever you get to that range, and the old man is happy also for his 120 to be measured. He was actually quite intrigued when I discussed it with him on the weekend - he likes his toys.

Hi J

I could not see for certain but are the bearings bolted into wood ?

The one drawer looks lower than the other. I have seen adverts where the guy sits in the drawer and no sag.

I need a set too. The ones I made myself lasted 6 years now but it may be time to upgrade. I like the Black Widow units.

Regards

Derek.

You're entitled to love the look of the look of Black Widow Derek.

They cost about $2500. Who can afford that??

We're just trying to help he general community with an an AFFORDABLE unit.

We're trying to sell the people a great unit at a fair price. And make a very modest profit.

We didn't mean to offend you.

I dont need one, but if u need a GU to measure grab mine.

Any specs or more photos? what they made of? weight? options?

thought of incorperating a fridge slide ? use the top you already have as the slide with a few more bearings.

Hi Jimbo, I think you guys are doing a really good job and wish you best of luck, though it would be nice to have the options of the fridge slide and the top plate finished all the way to the edges for better storage.

Yes I would agree with others comments on the Black Widow unit looking better but you made a good point there a heel of a lot more to buy, obviously the Black Widow unit has had more R&D hence the price.

I am sure you guys will put more R&D into your product eg. locking latches, fridge slide and top plate finish and it will definitely not stay the same $750 price, but I am sure yours will still be cheaper than competition prices.

So once again good luck keep us posted on any changes and hopefully I will be able to give you my business in the future.

Cheers,
Babs.

Babs,

Fridge slides are done, will post shots on the website soon.

We purposely left the "wings" off the unit to allow storage of small item beside it.

Cheers,

Jim.

Jimbo,
the idea of leaving space beside the unit really makes sense, because then you can also easily remove (slide) the entire unit from the vehicle and use it in a friends truck also.

Plus you can easily get at the gear you put at the sides of the unit from the front or rear.

As it’s often difficult for the ‘cook’ to get right down into the fridge when it’s placed up high on the top shelf, have you considered placing it as low as possible, and maybe loose some small section of the drawer space at the back, with the lower area and shelf still being accessible from the front.

Mainey...

The drawers look great - what sort of room is there between that back of the unit and the passenger seats. Is there enough room for a cargo barrier as the fit looks pretty snug?

Cheers
Darren

That is one hell of a good idea. We can rout the drawers to allow for removeable partitions.

Thanks,

Jim.
