yep another one!!
its an '88 hilux single cab tray back with 243,000km 2.4lt diesel.....it'll be a little slow (nathan used to have a 2.4lt 4runner....it struggled getting up the hlls in 2nd gear!!).......body a bit worse for wear but cannt expect much for what we paid...
.....so is there anything that these utes are known for buggering up???

Hi the steering arm off the top of the swivel housing snap causing a loss of steering.
Other than that not enough horsepower to break anything else.

Yep, relationships. You will need plenty of understanding as it will be possible to take it further than his driving capabilities LOL!!! (A lot of drivers capabilities anyway, not saying you or your better half are dud drivers).
The Rocky I had with same motor was pretty good but the transfer case kept losing oil into gearbox and that was not pleasant and also costly. Not sure if the Rocky box/transfer is same as hilux.
