Dual Batts in new Triton

Hi guys,
Has anybody had any experience with / seen a dual battery system setup in the new triton? Looking for some advice!

Sorry.. just relised that I was a bit lean on info... Advice on where they mounted the second battery and what size etc.

Mounted in front of the spare wheel underneath.
Could have a dance party there is so much room.

Hi Milzi,
I looked into this when I was going to buy a triton. Pirana have a tray to fit but the battery size is smallish. They did say that you can change over the leads and make the new battery the cranking battery and use the original position as the aux battery tray. However, you probably need to buy a new deep cycle or similar battery.

In the supersceded model ARB had a tray and it fitted accross the firewall in front of the passenger. The carbon canister(?) need to be relocated accross to the other side to make room.
I dont know how the new one difers from the old though.

Most of the new vehicles require a battery pack of some kind as the space under the hood is limited.
There are a few options.
The FLYER and the THUMPER and I think oposite lock have one now as
well.

we fitted one yesterday, as said on this site the second battery goes across against the firewall on passengers side, battery is smallish .nice fit and looks good. bloke got a
snorkel and fridge slide as
well.
