Hi all
Wonder if anyone could give a plain english explanation on how to load Hemas Great Desert Tracks into Ozi. Ive tried and tried to import the maps but I must be doing something wrong which you techy's would think is easy.
Thanks to all.

Hunjy,
When you say "tried to import the maps", what do you mean? The maps are in ozf2 format on my CD which means all you have to do is Load the maps NOT Import them as such.
What error messages are you getting?

Hi Hunjy, I am using Aus 4WD Raster map collection with Ozi. not the same maps you have but same principle, the great desert track's loads with its own viewing software, and is compatible with Ozi, so after loading your map DVD, in Ozi just go to Load, load map file and it should go straight to the relevant folder, select map and it should work, good luck

Just go to My computer, go to your CD drive, (might have to right click the drive and click "explore") and copy the following files:
Great Desert Tracks - North Central.map
Great Desert Tracks - North Central.ozf2
Great Desert Tracks - North East.map
Great Desert Tracks - North East.ozf2
Great Desert Tracks - North West.map
Great Desert Tracks - North West.ozf2
Great Desert Tracks - South Central.map
Great Desert Tracks - South Central.ozf2
Great Desert Tracks - South East.map
Great Desert Tracks - South East.ozf2
Great Desert Tracks - South West.map
Great Desert Tracks - South West.ozf2
Each of the .map files are the calibration files to go with the corresponding maps. they are about 5Kb
Each of the .ozf2 files are the actual maps.
Paste them all in a folder created at C:\oziexplorer\maps\hemaGDT
And simply "Load map" when you run Ozi
Cheers
Phil

Or goto your index map in Ozi and load from there
