Eric from Cape York Connections
We made it back from our trip to western victoria and the great ocean road.
I was very saddened by the extent of the drought around
Hamilton especially.
Just about every
dam was empty.
The Hattah
Kulkyne didnt do much for me.
The sunset Murray national was good and the salt lakes especially the
pink lakes
Then we headed down to the eastern side of Wyperfeild national park.
In my opinion it was the most scenic of the 3 parks
In all I would liked to have spent more time in and around the area but as per usual
we all lead A way to busy life.
Then we headed down to
port fairy what a nice spot then along the great ocean rd what more can I say every body must do the scenery is breath taking.
We did the 20 minute helicopter ride around the 12 apposiles expensive but one of those must do things.
Sorry to bonz for not calling but I left my folder with my maps and your number on a bench in
hay I didn't realize until about 2 hours on so had to buy new maps and a few other things.
All the best
Eric
