Howdy ,

Today I purchased "Tobruk"- Peter Fitzsimons and have a few Carl Hiaasen and Robert Jordan novels - all MP3 although the Tobruk one is MP3 and "normal" .

Does anybody want to swap any of the ones they have , for these ?

Thanks ,

Willie .

My signatures had been a bit high-brow lately - I needed to come back down to earth . People might have got the wrong idea about me .

I got nowhere with my research - bummer .

Hey willie
i dont ahve any to swap, but was wondering where you buy these MP3 books from. I do a heap of long distance driving and often get bored listening to music all the time. Is there somewhere you can get them online?
Thaks ofr any info.

wheeler ,
I bought Tobruk at a book store for $40 , but I have heard that some other people have down loaded them off the net for free. They would be huge files to download though .
Try the site suggested earlier on this post .

I think, Free download form program called 'limewire' is not legal but everyone does it. The program is also free, do a search. Can also get MP3 books through I-tunes. This program goes with Apple I-pods but you can also download this off Apple site for free. Not sure about getting them onto mp3 player that is not apple though. With I-tunes you can burn whatever you have on there to disc as mp3 and then play on you stereo if it support mp3's. I guess with the disk you could put it back into your PC and copy to your MP3 player from there. Confused yet?

ABC Shops have lots of talking books, some of which are MP3. Their on-line store has many more.
