Eflares - which colour?

Hello all,

I have just been looking through the Exploroz online shop to get kitted up for our next trip. I noticed the Eflare safety devices - they seem like a pretty good idea and are available in 2 colours, red and amber. The description of the items doesn't differentiate between the use of either colour. Is there any protocol or standard for the use of either colour, or is it purely a personal preference?

Thanks in advance.
Jezza.

Hi Jezza,
Both products are the same but different colour - it is just personal preference. I don't believe there is a "standard for use" of either colour. (Not to my knowledge to date anyway!). From a sales point of view the amber is more popular, but both are in stock.
Thanks

Thanks Jackie - you were next on my list to people to contact if I didn't have any joy in the Forum. I think I will go for an amber.

Cheers,
Jezza.

: )

Amber is fine if you want to call in an air strike.
