Question re fuel economy

Have any new owners of new 70 series L/C kept any figures re fuel economy i.e.can we expect much improvement..

Wednesday's paper had a revue they did 2500km's and and averaged 11L/100km

It was in the west Australian newspaper, had a look on their web page but I
could not find it . I'm sure there will be dozens of revues in the 4wd mags and papers in the next couple of weeks .

Official figure for 79series 1HD-FTE was 11.6 l/100k.
On the new V8, its 11.9 .
In my book that means no difference, but like you, its nice to hear what people are actually getting.

Just to add, official figure for 1Hzzzz 79series was 13.1 l/100k, and I just noticed the V8 is 11.5 when in the cab chassis.
