I have an ORAC coupling on my off road Cvan. Wondering whether anybody has fitted level rides to this type of coupling. Reason being I have purchased a territory AWD and want to be able to tow my van with this occasionally. I know that my van is very heavy on the towball and the standard suspension on the territory will not hold it. My GU 111 with heavy duty springs and shocks is only just capable. Thanks Eric.

You have reservations - so dont risk it. A load levelling devise is not magic the cure you are looking for.

You might be better to look at the reason that is so heavy on the coupling & make adjustments.

It is a golf off road campervan and the wheels are set quite a bit to the rear, giving a long drawbar. Can't do much about that....

Hi Eric, when you refer to level rides do you mean Weight Distribution Bars/hitch? if so l have read many articles and found from own experience that you shouldn't use WDH with off road coupling when going off road. I hope l didn't misunderstand your question, regards.

that's exactly what I mean, I don't intend to take it off road, on unsealed roads only, I wouldn't take the territory off road, that's what my patrol is for, thanks Steven.
