I would be interested to hear from anyone who has been in the Flinders recently. I am going in May/June for a few weeks and wonder if there is any water in creeks (has there been rain?), general road conditions etc.
How many people are generally around at that time?

Check out the Transport SA website, look for road conditions for far north.

The info is updated regularly and is accurate. Dte of last update is posted as is the expected next update.

If it is open at all you can drive it. If it is closed you may be able to drive it depending on your ability to pay the fine. Its not a little fine.

If you are going at that time of year take a jumper or two.
