The Garmin Street Pilot 7200 looks good in the brochures. Any feed-back on its worth for e.g. minor country roads as well as mains and cities? I read it takes a reversing camera cable too. cheers.

Silverfox
It will have all the same fantastic software as all Garmins, Only It might be a bit big for a small 4x4 , but then I have not set eyes on one yet ,But yes stick with Garmins , you won't be sorry

::The StreetPilot 7200's huge 7-inch touch screen display means you'll always see where you're going — from anywhere in the vehicle. Designed for larger vehicles such as 4x4s, trucks, and buses, the 7200 is a premium::

I use a Nuvi 660 and find it very good, but it really depends on what you require from a GPS , Do you want Tracks and Routes, then Nuvi is not what you want .
I suggest browsing the specs in GME's or Johnny Appleseed web sites for prices etc

Thanks for the feed-back so far. I have a brochure for the GPSMAP 276C. It is a very good package. It can be removed from the vehicle and carried (bushwalking)or installed into a boat for example. However I was keen to hook up a reversing camera to the L/C100 and use the one screen. So far all I can find which can do this is the 7200. I'll visit J Apple' and get tactile me thinks. I may also install a second camera on the van. Only worry would be seeing those B doubles up close.

I have had bad expearences with Navman,3 months waite on warrenty work, 4 months waite for car charger, slow to lock on to satalites and freezes up all the time. First one i brought didn't lock on to sat, they replaced that with another and it wouldn't read the map card, they replaced that with another which wouldn't talk. You think i would have asked for my money back after all that hey??? But never Navman AGAIN.
