looking to replace std side steps on gu with a steel set.anyone found anything decent out there, other than the big boys offerings(a_b,t_m etc). want something to protect sills & maybe use a hilift jack on,not as step so much.googled Side Steps also "
rock sliders" didnt find to much. any suggestions? thanks thebigeasy.

Cheesy Racing manufacture very solid steps. Mate bought them recently. The look strong and look good and are welded to the chasis and not just bolted.

Hi. Try talking to the competition guys. They usually get them made as I have done.If you weld the mounting to the chassis ( that is the best way ) get a certified welder to do this

Yes Roothy says no welding on Chassis, i heard him on the Supercheap Challenge dvd saying that was a good way to cause cracking.
