Hi all,
Next weekend we plan on fitting the long range sub tank I have bought from 4WD Systems to my dual fuel GU.
I have read previous posts etc and got Roachies advice regarding his experiences on a previous thread but just thought it worth asking if anyone else has fitted such a tank and has any tips or traps I should look out for?
Thanks in advance for any help
Cheers
Trev

see if you can use a hoist or a pit or ramp much easier when car is above you , follow the instructions, never fitted a 4wd systems tank, but long
ranger and the like have pretty clear spec. sheet. oh, and empty the
old tank.

I fitted a long rang tank in an NG Pajero a while back, I found that a trolley jack was very useful for lifting and moving the tank into position.
Also sounds obvious but take extra care to make sure the tank is clean inside,
mine had some metal filings inside.
Have fun
