Well there was not much in the way of dust but there was buck loads of Mud and music.
The racers were a great spectacle with every car requiring a good rinse to get the mud out of the radiator after each run.
I was great to see the standard class (no mods and road tyres) get around the course. The winner in the Standard class was a "woman" yes sir Jo did a fan tasitic job coming first it came down to the wire in the final (only 2 left standing) and Jo won the final with 1 gear First (her hubby mechanic over adjusted the clutch). the first female winner in a male comp (no segregation here folks)
The open class was won by the mad Russian Wally, again the final of the open came down to the final race and there was 1.3 seconds in the end i think. The No. 7 entry in the white hilux did realy
well, getting a spot in the final through a scratching and moving from 7th and ending 3rd after a roll over (no one hurt not even the car)
Congratulations to Tony for putting on a great race to all the boys (& Girls) who broke their trucks or had a ball trying.
Remember the Riverland Challenge in on October 2007 at the same track just a lot dryer.
those who missed out due to the wet weather missed a fan tastic couple of days.
