Have you tried the Kia Dealer?
I only ever made one mistake
and that's when I thought I was wrong!

The KIA dealer was my first port of call, followed by all the other upmarket places like aunger etc.

Have tried these people, the best they had to offer is a self stick foil over the head lights but no maker could be found for the real thing. The problem ist, it is the model with the single head lights.

As your probably aware Kia is Hyundai. Perhaps park near the local Hyundai delaer and compare lights. You'll no doubt find a Hyundai model with the same light and they tend to have good accessorie ranges for their vehicles.

Hi FredW,

I went to a windscreen crack repair outfit (Novus), they had a clear material about 4mm thick with a peel off backing that stuck to my headlights. Don't know how it would go in VERY high temps but it never even looked like coming off for the four years that I had it on my Kia.

I've got the 3M clear (thick) film on both headlights & driving lights.
It's actually a body protection film.
No probs...

You'll probably find that the headlight lenses are made of polycarbonate and being 20 tougher than glass headlights of days gone by doesn't really need additional ( stone ) protection.

Thanks guys for your help, I had used the stick-on-stuff which was made by 3M and just managed to get it off again in time, it did not like the curveture and developed bubbles. Hell of a job getting it off. That polycarbonate sounds interesting, I did drive behind road trains from the Gulf of Carpentaria to Ravenshoe, had 2 holes in the windscreen but the headlights survived.
