I did it 2 years ago. it had not been done for 2 years and was completely overgrown. Since we did it it was used a bit more. I suggest you contact Lajamanu Police (Hooker Creek). I would not recommend doing it when overgrown. Our paint was ruined by it. If it is still overgrown you can expect extensive damage to your vehicle and possibly several flat tyres. I did it with my dad who has 50 years experience driving in that terrain. We had one flat and were told by police we would not be recovered if we broke down as the last people thru had 8 flat tyres and damaged their car extensively. If conditions are the same, Police will not allow you through unless you are very well prepared and very experienced and prepared to accept a no recovery option.
