Guy's,
Intend on fitting a Winch to the standard Nissan Steel Bullbar. What is the Largest size winch that will fit the bar without modification with brand and model? Also what is the largest with simple modification again brand and model? I have recieved conflicting info from various 4wd shops......
Thanks in Advance....

Have a word with Ritchie at Hume Offroad, he is also ACT Winch
Services, he'll be able to answer just about everything you need to know to make a decision.

The largest will be a 9500lb chinese like TJM, Repco, Ironman etc. 10,000lb are physically too large and from memory the warn 9500 xp's are too long but I'll stand corrected on that one.

The winch that is ,,, not the bullbar...lol...
Made no difference though,,, but make sure the drain holes are sealed up and new ones are redrilled ..

tdf i dont have abs brakes assist in
mine so i fitted on passenger side against the fire wall running across the vehicle i used a battery tray made by phirana for the old 2.8 gu's - cause thats where th 2nd battery used to be fitted in the 2.8 - got the battery tray from tjm for about $150 bit of fiddling about and i use a slightly smaller exide extreme in that tray which is the next size down from the n70z for the patrols as its a bit lighter and a bit smaller
see you greg
