Hi all,
What towball weight can I expect from a loaded Ultimate Camper.
Also is anyone using a WDH with the TREG coupling. I have heard elsewhere that it can be done but have never seen it. Don't know if it's needed either.
All advise welcome
Gerard

I have heard it can be done as
well - the only problem is that it would greatly reduce the off road ability of the Tregg / Trigg hitches, therefore, if going off road with the WDH fitted is going to be more of a problem than a benefit.
I think better
suspension or air bags (as I have) are a far more appropriate leveling device than a WDH.
If you are not going to take the Camper off road and want to fit a WDH then you might as
well go back to having a tow ball - IMHO.

I don't know the exact weight - dpeends how much you store in the boot I think. But we have not needed to any weight distribuition gear. First thying to do with the Pajero will be to look at the
suspension. This will be needed anyway when you start to load it up. If you have a good set of springs installed it should easily take the Ultimate when hitched.

Hi Gerard
I tow an Ultimate Off Road Camper(431) behind my 1995 GXL. I had OME863 Rear Coil Springs fitted along with a set of Polyair Air bags. Although I have never had the tow ball weight checked, I can honestly say I have packed the camper to near capacity and never found the need to resort to the use of any type of weight distribution hitch. A couple of extra pounds of air pressure into the Poyairs and the camper has always towed level and safely. Hope this helps.

You should have a brochure ?? that shows total weight, ball weight etc etc ??
If not just ring them, they will only be too happy to tell you !!! And also advise you on tow hitches etc !!

I read somewhere that WDH should be taken off for off road towing.
