Anyone been to Plumridge Lakes Nature Reserve in the Great Victoria Desert? What's it like? What is the access like from Laverton and from the Connie Sue?
Thanks

I have the same question as Michael, but also want to ask about access to Cocklebiddy from Plumridge Lakes. (Marked as a station track - no public access- from Rawlinna to Cocklebiddy).

Also, Westprint have a digital map available on CD for Plumridge Lakes. Just check their website.

Thanks

Yes Michael, I was there last year. I came in from Queen Victoria Springs. No problems with access from the Connie Sue. Not much at Plumridge Lakes to see and unimpressed with the camp sites either. We went out North to the Anne Beadell. This was a pleasant drive in remote country. A large area was burnt out from a spinifex fire and left the joint looking very blackened.

Thanks Desert
That is helpful. Trying to decide whether to travel from Laverton along the Anne Beadell and down the Connie Sue or travel via Plumridge Lakes.
Any thoughts?
