Cape fuel prices

HI GUYS,
I have tried to get diesel fuel prices throughout the
cape york area without much luck.
ie:- Bramwell Jct,
Bamaga,
Weipa, travelling through OTL track ?
Just looking for the average price for calculations.

I will be watching carefully the reply's you get.
Only 12 Sleeps to go for us.
But the fuel price is not a big issue, as we want to do the trip, and will have to pay the price regardless.
I do however understand your desire to budget. Enjoy your trip.

We were through a week or so ago. But since then have filled up so much that I can't remember most of them.The only one I can remember is $1.91/L for Diesel at Bramwell. It was the most expensive.
As I write this, we are in
Alice Springs - just arrived. We were in
Mount Isa this morning, and it was not our intention to be in Alice tonight, but plans change sometimes don't they.

Working out fuel cost to the last cent will spoil your holiday...
I still don't know what the Cape trip fuel cost was - just put it on the Visa and pay the total next month with the
camp fees, etc
It's best not to look at the bowser total at
places like Bramwell either - It can be a fearful number :-)

I`m not trying to work out to th last cent, I think that would be impossible.
I was basically just looking for the average price in the area, So as what to expect, and get an Idea what were up for during the trip.
I just like working things out.
