Is anyone heading north to the Cape in June/july? My parents are heading up sometime around then, itenery and length is very flexible, but looking for a group or other people to travel with. The original group couldn't make it.
This is their second trip north and are keen to tackle all the harder sections of the cape, starcke track, frenchmans, (otl obviously) and anywere else that might take their fancy. Taking Kimberly camper and very capable truck ( new Patrol double locks, winch etc) and just worried it may be a little boring by themselves.
If anyone is heading up or would like to tackle some of the tracks mentioned just give me a yell at
shaun@green-group.net and we may be able to sort something out.
Regards
Shaun G

My wife, 2yr old daughter and I are heading up in June/July.
We plan to pass through
Cairns on the 9th of June.
We are planning to go to
Bathurst Bay for a few days fishing, then Lakefield, then the top end. We are travelling with an Ultimate Camper. Plan on taking 4 weeks between
Cairns and
Cairns. Looking to sit back and relax for a few days here and there, maybe even a week if we like the place. Planning to be self sufficient for up to 10 days (food, water & power).
Keen to meet up with your folks if they want some company for some of their trip.
As long is they like to relax, fish and Oh yeah drink.

dolfn,
Thanks for the reply, my parents are very interested in catching up, the comments relax, fish and drink really took their interest. Maybe we can swap some notes, my personal e-mail is shaun@green-group.net.
