Hi,
We are heading for Mt Dissa this Saturday for a final hardcore bash before the track closures...have other stuff planned but we want to make this weekend very memorable.
I have a few tracks to look at including:
Pipeline, Ladder and Phone....can anyone recommend any others worth a look?
Thanks in advance
Rod

Rod go north a bit
go down wild dog gully rd Ive been down it on a bike 30 years ago and it scared the $hit out of me then when you get to the bottom (if still alive) there and
old mine with head frame and all and you will come out on the falls road, call in to the Strath pub and tell the Locals.
If not try
Beaconsfield tk joining up to blackmans rd there the remains of chinaman's mines they look like chinnerys or drains on the side of the track..
also a nice
mine Harrys Nose west tk, only about 5ks after Anderson gardens
picnic area, old drive inti the side of a spur with rail line and all could go on & on the hole Mountain is covered in old Mines working..
Spend my growing years all over the place
Richard

Thanks Richard,
Wild dog looks
well worth a look on the map..have a copy of the "rooftop" edition here. I had planned to visit the falls at some point in the afternoon; whilst up there I will be sure to have a look.
Found a couple of other interesting looking tracks around the bottom of "Phone" and "Phosphate"...I'll put a link up to the video when we're done...:)

Sweaty Palms track is worth the drive for obvious reasons ;-)

The track although clearly open is not one that was sign posted nor on our map so it's possible you may know of it by another name. Since I posted I can't find my
Tallarook map to give directions other than to say it's east of Horan's track.
Cheers Craig.......

Horan's - isn't that in
Tallarook??....notice the names are re-used such as "Phone" and "Tehans" - is there another "Horans" in My Dissa??

Sorry Rod I saw Phone track & asumed you were heading towards
Tallarook as
well 20km's to the north. There is also a Phone Track up to Mt Hickey. (Worth the drive as
well ;-)
Cheers craig.....
