Camping is available at Mt Browne, just down the road for about $10 per night. Ask the publican at Milparinka, I think he still takes the money for the station owner, I believe they also have a shearers quaters available too for accomodation.Cheers unc.

Camped a night last year down a little side track near Depot Glen.

Can't remember how far it was from Milparinka but was close...

you can camp in the creek just before the town coming from the north, we camped next to the pub,, not so far to walk .. LOL

had a good meal and just a couple of Beers, someone was making a commercial for the telly in the creek at the time around 20 truck, vans, & cars

I see I passed through there on 5th May 2004, a tad ahead of you. But the film crew were there already.

I'm too poor to go to pubs....lol

Camped a couple of years ago as above on the creek as you approach town from north. Tracks to the right led along the creek bank to some good spots.

I guess weather and drought could have changed it.

G'day robsil, maybe you could chesk out this site.
You used to be able to camp at Theldarpa, a property about 20 K's from Milparinks towards the SA border. I think it is still operating as a farmstay, but not sure.
