Good evening all,
Jodie and I were out trekkiing the Mogo goldfields today and had finally worked out how to hook the laptop up to the gps to have a moving map situation. (great and handy too) But my question is, on the Meridian Marine we have , we have selected "track up" which I find has been very useful while using the gps unit, but can I select it also on the laptop?? We played around with the menu for a while but couldn't seem to find how to set it. Is it possible or not? Thanks unc.

Unfortunately the answer is "NO". I tried myself & find a work around.I am assuming that you are running DAST thru Mapsend. It's only one of a few annoying features of the Mapsend software.

Unfortunately Willie , we came
home empty handed this time, found a new patch of diggings but no luck. Also tried a spot where we got a nice 36 gram slug from 2 years ago but I think that nugget was a loner.! Ah
well will save it for another trip.

Sorry, I can't resist... Trekking the MOGO Goldfields.... Duck across to the lollie
shop did you?
Actually went there in my old boat, very very African Queen stuff it was too draging the boat over sand bars while the 2 SWMBO's sat there trying to look interested....
The Agent Provocateur in me asks what would happen if some miscreant let the Lions out of the Zoo at Mogo, now that would cause mayhem on the goldfields.
Did you know that at what is now Broulee there was considerable
infrastructure to get the gold to
Sydney by ses rather than risk the road trip...
