I would like a subtank for my 60 HJ (diesel). Is there an option for this or do I replace the original tank? What happens to the spare wheel if I replace?

Any suggestions as to where? ARB? ?? I have found no support as the 60's are too old. All the wreckers I have been to do not have any fitted.

No standard option as far as I know, but can still get 150 - 190L replacement tank or up to 70L sub tank after market from the usual suppliers - ARB, Long Range Automotive etc.

Cheers, Dave

Try TJM. usually fit a larger tank underneath and move spare wheel onto a rear bumper mount. Or you can get a mid mounted sub tank, as was quite often done with LPG conversions on the petrol jobbie.

I have heard somewhere of people buying a standard tank for a 60 and fitting it as a sub, I am not sure where you'd put it or what shape it is.
