I was wondering if the use for this Chain was an overkill or not,
Only a Landcruiser could handle these chains

Doug,

I don't think Dusty would like to be chained up with it also, it looks a little small to restrain such a large dog LOL

Kev
Go and have another look at the link again, that chain should have been around when my Troopy towed the truck about 20ft ,enough for him to jump start it at Burke and Wills Roadhouse North of Cloncurry, the trailer had a Komatsu D375 on it which is same as a CAT D10 , all up it would weigh about 84 tonnes, This photo was taken near Century Mine

Why would you tow a Landcruiser. I just leave 'em stuck where I find 'em, That'll teach them.

That's one of those miniature dogs from Asia isn't it?

No he is not Asian, He is a Tenterfield Terrier, and was born June 8th 1996 near Mt Omaney which is a Suburb out toward Ipswich , or near the Oxley. Darra, Sumner Park area in Qld. I think Dusty has more Chihuahua in him than Mini Foxy.

It is believed these terriers were bred quite extensively in and around northern New South Wales. A known large breeder of this terrier was George Woolnough, the Tenterfield Saddler (Peter Allen’s grandfather). It is believed they used the smaller progeny of the Fox Terrier and outcrossed it to other breeds to bring the dog down in size. There appears to have been many inputs of other breeds over the years, with probable inclusion of Chihuahua, Whippet, Manchester Black and Tan, Min Pin and Italian Greyhounds. The dog has commonly been referred to as the “Miniature Fox Terrier”.

Totally agree Doug, The Nissans would get an asthma attack as soon as they saw them.

Although Dusty appears to think they are rather flimsy.
