Has anyone experience with hand cranked powered appliances. I have been looking at the Eton hand powered 3 in 1 radio, flashlight, mobile phone charger. We often travel outback and I was looking for applicanes which can be solar powered or hand cranked. Any suggestions.

I think they have their place,a friend has a torch where you shake it up and down, now to put that under your
seat for that rainy day where the battery one fails,i'll shake it till the cows come
home for a bit of light !
If you can spare the cash why not
cheers

Not experienced with that exact model. I have one on the shelf in front of me with flashlight and radio... dynamo/hand cranked and solar powered. Your post reminded me that it was still there!
Lots of cranking for not much results. It's covered in dust!
I also have a hand powered mobile phone charger. Lots of cranking to charge for a few seconds only.
The model you are looking at could be good.... try before you buy. Easy.
Let your phone go flat and have a go at charging it in the store.
Cheers Royce
