At the end of the month myself and a few more cod hunters are heading up between lock 7 and 8 so I was wondering how much rain had fallen in the area? I heard some campers had to leave their cars and get out by boat a fortnight ago. We have a 100 series, 80 series and a commodore which are towing 2 tinnies and a camper, no doubt the commy will have trouble but he wont be scared as it is his work car. I might sent another post just before we go to see if anything has changed.

We were at Lock 7 today, came from
Morgan around the top loop to the Lock, they have had good rains around the whole area but its all but soaked away by now. We also done a run through NSW side of the river from Lake Vic to
Renmark, and there were only 1 or 2 bog holes with divertion tracks around them.. Dont think you will have any problems at all, except they are expecting some more rain this week I believe.

Rainfall for
Renmark Airport (probably closest 'official' rain gauge) was:
March 27.8
April 43.6 mm
May (so far) 0.2 mm
As you probably already know, it takes about 'two good spits' on the
grey mud/clay in the area and it becomes impassable. Looks like showers and thunderstorms in the area for at least the next 5 days or so. Link Good luck.

There's a few fish around, see my rig pics for one my oldest son caught a week ago. Sorry I don't know how to put it here directly.

Too big to keep, we catch and release and this one was 110 cm, can't legally keep him anyway. Three were caught that day at 55cm, 106cm and 110cm.
