How are the height specs on a US spec Landcruiser less than on a rest of the world 100? They both have the same size tires. Is it the suspension?

I am pretty sure it would be the suspension. The US models are usually more up spec than here. The Sahara ( with air suspension) is about 30mm lower than the GXL for overall height. So while it can be rasied it is only 10mm higher than the others when in the raised state. On top of that, it can not be raised when the load is 400kg or less. This is addresed in the dealer training DVD but try to get the facts out of a dumb sh*t sales guy, Especially Nunnawading Toyota.
