Hi Guys

I’m looking at installing a thermo fan under/over the top mounted Intercooler on a GU 4.2 TD
Any ideas or comments

and yes have looked in the archives

I have a 2.8 GU and they come standerd with a fan underneath the intercooler, maybe one of them can be placed there?

The 2.8 GU fan won't fit under the intercooler on the TD42 as the plumbing from the I/cooler to the manifold curls underneath the I/cooler core. It won't fit on top either as it's just too big.

Same here, come standard on the pajero 2.8.
Why not look at the 2.8 patrol or pajero for ideas.
Find mine only comes on at over 30 deg C and slow going.

PS - as a follow up.
A lot of bikes are water cooled these days, and they have small fans on the radiator.

Any local bike wreckers around?

Wire it to a manual switch on the dash?
