I believe it is to be called the Passwind when it arrives in OZ.
www.jmclandwind.nl/en/
I know there was a post about the crashtest of these ( it got 0) but realisticly it will only be a matter of time before these vehicles will be for sale here.
If you think its not going to happen, remember the jokes about Hyundai, Kia, Asia, Daewoo etc.
So time to think about trading the LC, Nissan, Paj, etc

Looks like they are using the Isuzu MU Wizard/ Holden Frontera body. A bit like when Fiat sold off there die's to the Russians to build the Lada Niva, maybe.
Cheers Bruce

Thought so the diesels are Isuzu, old 2.8T Rodeo motors.

Look the Chinese might have a good thing, they have the right start anyway (Isuzu) and of course I am not bias. But the Lada
well for what I paid for
mine I had a lot of fun haha.
Cheers Bruce.

I like the Isuzu's too. Had a Landy with the 3.9 (couldn't kill it) and just got a new Rodeo (little pearler).
As for Lada Niva I drove one once and it's not an experience I wish to repeat.
Sure it went
places I did not think it would go, but it never felt the least bit safe

air conditioning comes standard
fuel filter and turbo an option
overseas reports indicate rear door seal issues and bottom end problems

They may
well be plagued by that "rotten egg gas" smell that you get with ULP
