I bought a set of black 16x8 US wheels recently. Havent had a chance to put them on yet, but I am a bit worried about the hole for the hub size. I got the largest hole possible (4.28) and backspace of 4.25" and offset of
-6mm.
I tried to fit one of the hub caps that came with the wheels over the hub, but it was too small. What is the minimum hole that will go over the hub?

Have a chat with Ace Tyres at Smithfield NSW or member message us about this, I helped them overcome this problem that only became apparent when I told them If the centres won't fit then they could put my old rims and tyres back on the truck. After carefully modifying they were happier than I was and they now get this done for anyone getting them put on a patrol. This is a problem with most imported U.S. six stud rims as the biggest hub centre in the U.S. in six stud is the same as the landcruisers.... tiny.

Ps. Negative 30 offset is the norm for a US wheel on a Patrol.

Hope this helps,
Leon
