Hi there dirty 4x4, I have never used then always used genuine Toyota but guy at work has just installed one about 3/4 months ago and reckons so far so good. Feels a tad heavier then my toyota did but alot of places I rang when enquiring about a turbo some did recomend terrain taimer (spelling) from Don Kyatte (again spelling) so they sound like they would be fine. I know Roothy from the 4x4monthly uses them well he says he does but hey he promotes there stuff so who knows. But I dont think you would have a problem using there stuff, and by the way terrain heaps cheaper then a genuine part even at cost price which is what I payed. Being turbo as the surfs are I would get the heavy duty which was advised to myself if I had decided to fit a turbo to my old lux. Regards Steve M

we fit terrain tamers to the mine vehicles from pine creek and to the ghan track maintenance crew and have had no bad feedback. some people get sucked in to the genuine road, and pay through the nose.
