Howdy all, can anyone help with infomation on these two campsites. They are both north of Nanutarra Roadhouse,
Cane River by approx 50 km &
Robe River approx 110km, both on the North West Coastal Highway, West Aust.
We are heading up that way in July and are wondering if these sites are suitable for a Jayco Swan outback camper trailer for an overnight stop

I think the
Cane River spot as mentioned in the Priceless Campsites book is just alongside the road, you can drive down to the river at an old bridge alongside the new bridge. Would be bit noisy for an overnighter; we stopped there once for lunch and a walk around. As we weren't looking for a
camp spot on that run, and it was a few years ago, i can't really recall, but think the
Robe River was just a
rest area again not far from the road to avoid traffic noise. We were travelling with a little old wind up camper, and found somewhere to pull off when ever we were ready to stop. Rivers are generally good, as they often have tracks for some distance alongside.
