Has anyone camped at the Mt
Hay tourist/fossicking place just outside of
Rockhampton? If so, what's it like? Good and bad points. Thinking about heading there over June long weekend. Blackdown NP booked out so looking for another spot.

Yes I've dug thunder eggs there. Nice place if you don't mind very basic facilities. Interesting place though, lots to do unless you like
water sports....
