I am trying to find information on Traxide Battery Isolation Devices, did have a web address but it doesn't seem to work. www.traxide.com.au Have not been able to track them down using Yellow pages and was wondering if any body has a current telephone number or address. Thanks in advance.

I did look at their website while it was up and they did not get me excited. We have used the Redarc for years without a problem. They are reliable, work and inexpensive. http://www.redarc.com.au/sbi.htm
Major issue with battery isolators is protection of electronic equipment already fitted to your vehicle as standard. Redarc has no issues with spikes http://www.redarc.com.au/sbi-techspec2.htm

If you call Rotronics they are very helpful (Rod Street - I think)
Truckster uses a Piranah set up and reacons that's the go but I thought them a bit priceyCarpe Diem

A Piranha setup is just a GSL with a couple of leads attached, anodised in flash colours, flash sticker and twice the price of a GSL unit.

Rotronics over priced over complex over rated and no better than a GSL or Redarc at the end of the day.
