Last year there was some discussion on these and someone suggested a supplier in
Adelaide. I can't find the thread. Does anyone know of a source for these in the
Adelaide area?
Thanks

Sounds like the sort of thing you'd get at Paramount Browns at Cavan, but I haven't been there for a while, so wouldn't know.
I'll resist from any discussion about
Snowtown :-((

Hi mfewster.
Im not sure if we are talking about the same barrel but if its about 60 LTRS has a black screw on lid and 2x D shape white handles I bought these from a produce stall but I think I remember someone saying that they are from swimming
pool servicing guys and may have had chlorine in them so just be sure of what was in them before you buy .
Cheers J.B.

I'll second the produce store - best place to go for good sealed containers!
Cheers

Thank you Phil, Scoey and Johhny.
I intend using a batch of them linked in series to store water from downpipes to use for the garden and sewerage. I know the blue barrels can't be used for
drinking water. I hadn't thought of the feed barrels, they should be OK for
drinking water. With the current waiting lists (and costs) for tank deliveries, this might be a good move.
