Gillian from Gunbarrel Laager
Travellors to
Wiluna reported that although the road across from
Warburton to
Carnegie thence to
Wiluna is quite reasonable, with some boggy patches that could be safely detoured around, there was one extremely hazardous wash out about 2 hrs east of Mungali Claypan. The edge of the washout is a vertical drop of about 30cm and is not easily sighted because of shadows on the track. The driver of the group concerned, put a tree across part of the road to alert others to the problem.
The grevilleas and wattles are quite spectacular en route.

Maybe this should be sent to VKS 737 as a message to travellers?
