Hi everyone,
Can anyone give me any information on the 16 klm 4wd track into the Starkvale
Creek campsite near the Robinson creek section of the park. Pretty remote park but any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards, Col

G'Day Col, Have a look at thread 45625. I answered "squaredeal" on a similar question. His header was Carnavon
Gorge area but included
Robinson Gorge. If it's not wet it's worth a day or 2. Will be cool there for the next few months.

Hi Col - we were out there August last year.
Very wide
well graded track in - only need the 4WD for the extra clearance it gives.
No dramas at all - had the park to ourselves - could spend a week in there.
Even has
toilets and water.
Just before Expedition is
Lake Murphy conservation park - schedule an overnight stop there. Plenty of wildlife - nice walk around the park;
Well kept and tidy - worth the stop over................Keith

Thanks Keith and others,
I downloaded some National Park info the other night and i thought that the track in had been upgraded. You have confirmed this and will put my partner at ease as the old track seemed a bit rugged. We will be calling in on the way back from
Cape York.
Thanks again for all the advice.
Regards from Col.
