G'day all,

Just thought I'd share a story about a local (to me) 4x4 shop - service above and beyond the call.

Yesterday started hearing a strange noise in the front end - I thought maybe a front CV joint on the 100 series. Problem was that tomorrow, Tuesday, is the big boy's trip I've arranged and am leading.

I contacted Auto Improvements 4x4 in Bairnsdale (East Gippsland) for help. The owner, Daniel (ex ARB), stated he was flat out but to bring it up. To keep it short, Daniel contacted every supplier in Gippsland searching for a front diff kit (noise turned out to be pinion drive shaft bearings u/s) but was unable to source one until Tuesday morning. Not to be detered he has ordered one that should be here at 0800hrs and be fitted ready for me to 'catch-up' to the boys for the first night.

I can't speak highly enough of Daniel or his staff. Very professional and ready to help out at the drop of a hat.

I have no affiliation for Auto Improvements apart from being a VERY happy customer.

Auto Improvements are an ARB installer as well as a range of other 4x4 Gear - I recommend on your next trip through the High Country to call in and see them!

Had to share this - I'm still smiling (as long as the part turns up LOL)
